Historical Giving

These are just a couple of examples of my genuine desire to help people by saving them money and giving back.

Property Connecters Ltd

Created at the end of 2004, I had an epiphany to help people save money when selling their own home.  I was a licensed salesperson but I didn't like the commission fees charged so I wanted to do better.

Unfortunately my husband at the time wanted me to get a real job!

Your Grocery Fundraiser

As an ideas person and the desire to work for myself, but also wanting to give back - Your Grocery Fundraiser was born in 2017.

Between 10-20% of the retail price was donated back to selected charities.

Why I Support Animal Welfare

I can’t own or foster a pet right now due to my living situation, and truthfully, my heart is still healing., so volunteering isn't an option either. I lost my beloved black cat, Coops, when he was hit by a car—just 100 metres from home.  Despite being microchipped and tattooed, I was never able to find his body for closure.  Less than 2 weeks later, we had to say goodbye to my partners dog who had a heart murmur but she had outlived her life expectation by many many years.

I've also said painful goodbyes to my Golden Retriever, Bentley, who passed from stomach cancer at nine, and Molly, a bearded collie we adopted from the SPCA but had to rehome a couple of years later due to life changes. My daughter’s pets have been just as loved, and we've experienced the heartbreak of losing rabbits (Henry & Benne) and Benji and Mali (tabby cats) to the road as well.

For now, I'll channel my love for animals via financial support for their welfare. My grand-furbaby, a rescued chocolate Lab, brings me joy, as do my neighbours' visiting cats.

This is my way of giving back until the time is right to welcome another pet into my life.
